Skyhome (GPS: 5.46338, 100.30378) is a 32-storey luxury condominium in Tanjung Bungah, Penang. Built in 2009, it comprises 47 units on freehold land, each with a built-up area of 6,300 sqft. The estimated selling price per unit is from RM2.2 million to RM2.4 million. Maintenance fee is set at RM0.10 per square foot.

Facilities include 24-hour security, three parking bays per unit, visitor parking, swimming pool, jacuzzi/spa, gymnasium, barbeque pit, CCTV surveillance, smart-card access and landscaped garden.

Location of Skyhome

Skyhome is 8 km to Komtar, 14.5 km to the Penang Bridge and 21.9 km to the Penang International Airport. It is "slightly far" from the city centre, which may be just right for those who do not wish to stay too close to the city. On the other hand, it offers great views of the North Channel, Gunung Jerai and the George Town skyline.

Public Transport of Skyhome

To reach Skyhome by public transport, you can take Rapid Penang bus 101 from Weld Quay Ferry & Bus Terminal or 102 from the Penang International Airport.

Amenities at Skyhome

The nearest petrol station is the Caltex along Jalan Tanjung Bungah (there is another Caltex along Jalan Tanjong Tokong on the way from town). The nearest schools include SK Tanjong Tokong and SJKC Hun Bin. The nearest market is the Tanjung Bungah Market. The nearest shopping centres include Lotus's Tanjung Pinang, Straits Quay and Island Plaza. The nearest hospital is Penang Adventist Hospital (not counting Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital).

Traffic situation at Skyhome

Traffic along Jalan Tanjong Tokong in front of Skyhome is perennially heavy. The road is however wide, so traffic is usually smooth.
