The Light Collection (GPS: 5.36511, 100.31631) is a residential development at The Light Waterfront in Gelugor, Penang. It comprises low-rise condominium blocks which were developed in four phases and a row of waterfront villas.

The Light Collection I comprises 152 units of luxurious quayside apartments and villas. The apartments will have a built-up area of 1,500 sqft to 3,800 sqft. Units come in six configurations namely Types A, AI, B, C, D and E/EI. There will also be 24 units of villas surrounded by the water, each with its own private garage.

The Light Collection II comprises 297 units of low-rise 7-storey condominiums. These will range from studio units with built-up area of 516 sqft to triplex units with a built-up area of 3,500 sqft. Units come in five configurations namely Types A, B, C, D and E, with each type further subdivided.

The Light Collection III comprises 190 units of residential properties that include medium-rise 11-storey super condominiums, duplexes, three-storey townhouses and seafront villas. These will have built up area ranging from 2,000 sqft to 4,000 sqft. Units come in 10 configurations namely Types A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J and K, with each further subdivided.

The Light Collection IV comprises 3 blocks of 6-storey condominiums and 19 villas built over water. The condominiums have built up area ranging from 1900+ sqft to 4400+ sqft. Each of the water villas have built-up area of around 7000+ sqft main parcel and around 3000+ sqft accesoory parcel.

Facilities at The Light Collection Phase I include 24-hour security, covered parking lots, infinity-edge swimming pool, viewing deck, reading room, games room and a floating gym overlooking the swimming pool.

The nearest bus stop, along the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, is a good 1.3 km away. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 307 and 401E.

Traffic situation at The Light Collection

The access road is Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway which often experiences congestions during rush hours. It is fairly common for traffic to come to a standstill during the Friday evening rush hours.
