The Light Point (GPS: 5.36273, 100.31604) is a 28-storey luxury condominium within The Light Waterfront development in Gelugor, Penang. It was built on freehold reclaimed land by IJM Land Berhad, and was completed in early 2013.

There is a total of 88 condominium units at The Light Point. Each unit ranges in built-up area from 1,830 sqft to 4,090 sqft. In addition to standard units, there are also duplex units and penthouses. The duplex units occupy the 3-3A, 9-10, 13-13A, 17-18, and 23-23A levels while the penthouses occupy the 28th level. There is a sky lounge on the 19th level. There are also two levels of car park in the semi-basement and within the podium. Standard units come in seven configurations namely Types A, B, C, D, E, F and G. All standard units have at least one balcony.

Public transport is not practical. The nearest bus stop, at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, is a good km away. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 307 and 401E.

Traffic situation at The Light Point

While traffic within The Light Waterfront is low, once you reach Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, traffic increases substantially, with congestions and even standstill during rush hours.
