The Tamarind (GPS: 5.45707, 100.31015) is a luxury condominium complex in Tanjong Tokong, Penang. Developed by Eastern & Oriental Berhad, it comprises two 33-storey blocks of a 7-acre plot of land. Each block houses 552 condominium units. There are three sizes namely Type A (1,372 sqft/128 sqm), Type B (1,241 sqft/115 sqm) and Type C (1,042 sqft/97 sqm).

The Tamarind is conveniently located just a short walking distance from Lotus's Tanjung Pinang, so it is within easy reach if you need to top up on groceries. Slightly further away is the Straits Quay Marina Mall, which has among its outlets Sam Groceria, an upscale supermarket, as an anchor tenant. Straits Quay also has many F&B outlets as well as shoplots.
