The term "Dessert Outlets" refer to restaurant as well as kiosks selling drinks, milk tea and fruit desserts, especially those with jelly balls. In the last few years, there has been a proliferation of such outlets. Some are franchises from Taiwan while others are opened by those who first learned to make such desserts while being there.
