The Dioramas of Penang Sun Yat Sen Centre relates the struggle of Nationalists that brought about the fall of the Qing Dynasty of China. The dioramas, in the form of intricately detail sculptures, were created by SculptureAtWork. They are on display at the Penang Sun Yat Sen Centre along Macalister Road.
Diorama of Dr Sun holding his Penang Conference at 120 Armenian Street. (20 November 2010)
Actual site of Sun Yat-sen's Penang Conference, now the Penang Sun Yat Sen Museum (20 November 2010)
Among the dioramas are scenes of Sun Yat Sen at his Penang Base at 120 Armenian Street having his conference. There were also several amusing dioramas that helps to explain the history and not make it boring especially to younger audiences.

Qinzhou, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China, was in 1907 the site of fierce battle between Revolutionary Army and the Qing troops of Imperial China. After capturing Fangcheng, the revolutionary soldiers were forced to retreat due to the delay in arrival of weapons and ammunition from Japan, and also because they were double-crossed by an agent.

About this website
Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.
While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
