Durian - The King of Fruits, The TOP, Komtar, Penang (6 November 2017)
Durian - The King of Fruits is a specialty museum celebrating the durian. It is located at Level 3 of The TOP at Komtar, Penang. The museum includes a walk-in gift shop where visitors can purchase various tourist items such as souvenirs and chocolates, as well as durian products.
The museum proper of Durian - The King of Fruits showcases everything you might want to know about durians, locally as well as on the national and international levels. We get to learn about durian cultivation, propagation, flowering, tastes, appearance of flesh, fruit and thorns, and durian producing nations.
The durians at Durian - The King of Fruits museum are so lifelike, I couldn't tell if they are actual durians. I have to say, the durian in its flesh form look less real, but those in fruit form, and those hanging from the trees are absolutely lifelike.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
