Flavours of Malaysia is a Sunday Buffet Lunch held at Eastin Hotel Penang. Formerly known as Journey Throughout Malaysia, offers Sunday luncheon of a large variety of dishes as found throughout the country. In particular, it intends to revive the delicious traditional flavours of yesteryears. Diners can enjoy a variety of appetizers, soups, main dishes, desserts and beverages.
Among the main course available include Otak-Otak, Lontong, Ikan Masak Tempoyak, Sotong Sumbat Ketupat Masak Sambal, Daging Percik Berempah, Chili Prawns, Kam Heong Chicken, Terung Masak Sambal Belacan, Lala Masak Paprik, and many more. For those who love spicy food, there's Eastin Hotel's signature dish, the Fish Curry with Ladies Fingers. Please note that the buffet rotates four different sets of menu, so the items shown in this food review is not necessary what might be served on that very day.
Arrayed in different action counters are items that are prepared to order. These include Sotong Kangkong, Curry Laksa, Char Hor Fun, Mee Goreng Sotong, Curry Mee, Yee Foo Mee, and other hawker delights.
After enjoying the savoury items, diners can conclude their meal with something sweet, perhaps the bubur pulut hitam, the various kuihs, cakes or fresh fruits.

The Flavours of Malaysia Sunday Buffet Lunch is priced at RM68nett per adult, RM48nett per senior citizen, and 50% off adult fare for children aged 6 to 11 years old. To inquire or make a reservation, contact Eastin Hotel Penang at +604-612 1111. This buffet runs until Sunday, 24 June, 2018.
