ESCAPE Gravityplay located within the ESCAPE Theme Park in Teluk Bahang, Penang, is the longest tube water slide in the world. It was built in 2019. The tube water slide is 1,111 meters in length, and is certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest tube water slide in the world. This water slide showcases Penang's capability to build a water slide through the rain forest without destroying nature.

Official opening of ESCAPE Gravityplay
ESCAPE Gravityplay was officially opened by the Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow on 9 November, 2019. My wife and I were privileged to an invitation to the opening, after which, we had a fun time enjoying the longest tube water slide in the world. Although it is said to take 4 minutes, that 4 minutes seem to pass so quickly that we rode the slides twice!
To reach the top of ESCAPE Gravityplay, we had to take a chairlift.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
