Kapitelplatz is a market square in the centre of Salzburg, Austria. It is next to the Salzburg Cathedral, and within the Old Town which is a designated World Heritage Site. To one side of the square is the sculpture of a golden sphere, called Sphaera, with a human figure standing on top, created by sculptor Stephan Balkenhol.
