On the grounds of the Residenz is a lovely fountain. It depicts Tritons with horses sprouting water. Across the square is the Neue Residenz, or new residence, which was the temporary residence of the bishop when the Residenz was being renovated. Today the Neue Residenz houses the Salzburg Museum.
