Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport (BVA) is a small regional airport located 85 km to the north of Paris. It is used mostly by low-cost carriers such as Ryanair. The airport has four gates and a snack bar and shopping area, both airside and in the publicly accessible area. The airport carried over 2 million passengers in 2007. The airport will be closed from June 3rd to June 10th for the installation of new landing equipment.
Getting out of Beauvais Tille Airport
By Bus
The airport has a shuttle service that connects with the Métro at Porte Maillot station. Buses run even during the wee hours of the morning (6AM). Buses leave 20 minutes after each flight arrives, and a few hours before each flight departs. Exact times can be found on the Beauvais Airport website. The journey will take about an hour 15 minutes in good traffic conditions, and costs €13 each way (as of November 2008).
