Ribeauvillé has managed to preserve much of its village center, which is simply gorgeous. The village is lined with tortuous alleys that wind their way past medieval houses and Renaissance fountains.
Among the famous sights in Ribeauvillé are the churches to St. Gregory and St. Augustine. Towering in the hills above the village are three castles, namely Saint-Ulrich, Girsberg and Haut-Ribeaupierre.
