Saint-Brieuc is a town in the district of Côtes-d'Armor, on the northern coast of Brittany, in northwestern France. It covers 22 sq km (8.5 sq mi) and has a population of 46,000 people (2012 estimate).
Saint-Brieuc is located on the Bay of Saint-Brieuc which continues into the English Channel. The namesake of the town is a 6th century Welsh monk.
How to go to Saint-Brieuc
Saint-Brieuc is a stop on the Paris-Brest line of the highspeed TGV train. By road, take the N12 (E50) expressway heading west out of Rennes until you reach Saint-Brieuc.
