Bad Kissingen is a spa town in the region of Lower Franconia in northwestern Bavaria, Germany. It serves as the seat of the district of Bad Kissingen. The town covers 69.42 sq km (26.8 sq mi) and has a population of 21,000 people (2012 estimate).

Bad Kissingen has a number of well preserved historic buildings. Within the market square in the town center is its local landmark, the Old Town Hall dating from 1577. The town spa, KissSalis Therme, is one of the biggest wellness resorts in Europe. It was opened in 2004, and is one of the state-of-the-art health facilities in the region.
