Bad Wörishofen is a spa town in Bavaria, Germany. It is in the district of Unterallgäu, in the administrative region of Swabia. Bad Wörishofen covers 57.80 sq km (22.32 sq mi) and has a population of 14,000 people (2012 estimate).
The spa of Bad Wörishofen developed in the 19th century when a Catholic priest Sebastian Kneipp established hydrotherapy as a treatment for a variety of ailments. Today the main spa complex in town is the Therme Bad Wörishofen.
