Badenweiler is a spa town in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It covers 13.02 sq km (5.03 sq mi) and has a population of 3,900 people (2012 estimate).
Located on the western edge of the Black Forest, Badenweiler has drawn thousands of visitors annually to its warm mineral springs. Here, the spring water is a constant 21°C (70°F), and is said to have therapeutic values.

The spa resort of Badenweiler, Cassiopeia Therme, dates to 1853. Among the sights in town include the ruins of Burg Badenweiler. There is also an arboretum created in 1758 called the Staatliche Baderverwaltung Badenweiler or simply Kurpark Badenweiler. It contains a wide range of trees including sequoias, cedars, bananas, lemons, oleanders, hibiscus and more.

The closest city to Badenweiler is Freiburg. From there, take Autobahn 5 (E35) until Neuenburg am Rhein, then exit the motorway and head east passing Müllheim to reach Badenweiler.
