Haldensleben is a small town in the district of Börde, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The town covers 138 sq km (53 sq mi) and has a population of 19,000 people (2012 estimate).
Haldensleben is located on the river Ohre. It serves as the district capital for Börde. It got its present name in 1938, when the town of Althaldensleben merged with Neuhaldensleben.
How to go to Haldensleben
Haldensleben is located about 30 km to the northwest of Magdeburg and can be reached from there by taking Highway 71.
