Schönebeck is a town on the left bank of the river Elbe. It is in the district of Salzlandkreis, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The town covers 86 sq km (33 sq mi) and has a population of 34,000 people (2012 estimate).

Schönebeck is located 14 km to the south of Magdeburg. From there, you can reach it by taking route L51, which follows the left bank of the river Elbe.
