Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque is a mosque at Europa Point, Gibraltar. It is also known as the King Fahd bin Abdulaziz al-Saud Mosque, or the Mosque of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Both names refers to King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, as he took the title of "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques", of Mecca and Medina, some time in the early 1980s. It was a gift from the king for the use of the 2000 inhabitants of Gibraltar who are Muslims. The mosque took two years to build and cost five million pounds.

The Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque has an underground tank believed to have existed since the time of the Moors. This underground tank is located on a flat ground beside the mosque. The area was known as Nun's Well, and according to theory, it could have gotten that name because of the nuns from the Shrine of Our Lady of Europa could have used it during early times.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
