Acharavi (Greek: Αχαράβη) is a small town on the northern coast of Corfu, in the western extremity of Greece. From here, one can see the coast of Albania. Thge town has a population of only around 650 people (2012 estimate).
Acharavi was once the ancient Greek city of Hebe, named after the daughter of Zeus. Ancient Hebe was destroyed by the Romans in 32 BC. Roman Emperor Octavian then renamed the city Acharavi, meaning "ungracious life". It has declined into a small town of modest significance today.
