Afytos (Άφυτος), Greece

Afytos (Greek: Άφυτος) is a village in the Central Macedonia Periphery of Greece. It has a population of just around a thousand people (2012 estimate).

Afytos is on the northeastern coast of the Kassandra peninsula. There are no major highways in the vicinity, so getting there involves self-drive. The nearest major city is Thessaloniki, some 73 km to the northwest.
