The
Central Greece Periphery (Στερεά Ελλάδα) is one of the thirteen regions of Greece. It covers 15,549 sq km (6,004 sq mi) and has a population of about 620,000 (2011 estimate). It is the most mountainous periphery in the country.
Central Greece Periphery borders
Attica Periphery and
Peloponnese Periphery to the south,
Western Greece Periphery to the west, and
Thessaly Periphery and
Epirus Periphery to the north.
