Bettona is a town in the province of Perugia, in the region of
Umbria, in central
Italy. It covers 45 sq km (17 sq mi) and has a population of close to 4,000 people (2012 estimate). The town is located 353 m (1,158 ft) above sea level.
Bettona was established by the Etruscans. Today it is a quiet town has preserved its medieval walls, including part that were built by the Etruscans. In the heart of the old town is the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.

From
Rome, take the A1 expressway to Orte, then continue on the SS675 route until it branches off to the SS3bis heading north. At San martino in Campo, head west on the SP403 to reach Bettona.
