Setúbal District is a district of Portugal located on the southwestern part of the country. The district covers 5,064 sq km and has a population of 789,000 (2011 estimate).
Setúbal District is bordered by Lisbon District to the northwest, Santarém District to the north, Évora District to the northeast, and Beja District to the southeast. The Atlantic Ocean is on the west side of the district. The district comprises 13 municipalities and 82 civil parishes.
