Rajecké Teplice is a spa resort town in Žilina District, in central-northern Slovakia. Situated 415 m (1,362 ft) above sea level, it has a population of around 3,000 people (2011 estimate).
Rajecké Teplice was first mentioned in 1376, when its thermal spas was marked, though it only gained city status in 1989. Today the town has spa pools for the treatment of a number of ailments and diseases.

You can reach Rajecké Teplice by train or bus from Žilina, which is just 15 km away. The journey by car takes 20 minutes.
