Alboraya (Valencian:
Alboraia) is a city in the province of Valencia, in the
Valencian Community, Spain. It covers 8.3 sq km (3.2 sq mi) and has a population of 22,000 people (2012 estimate). The town is close to the city of
Valencia.

Alboraya comprises the neighborhoods of Port Saplaya and Patacona. They are separated by the mouth of the Barranco del Carraixet. Local cuisine include
paella, baked rice (
arròs forn), rice with spinach and spicy snails (
avellanencs).

Alboraya is to the immediate north of Valencia. It can be reached on Avinguda de Alfahuir.
