Alcalá de Xivert is a town in the province of Castelló, in Valencian Community, Spain. It covers 167.5 sq km (64.7 sq mi) and has a population of 8,000 people (2012 estimate).

Alcalá de Xivert is on the east coast of Spain. It is in a valley between the Serra d'Irta and the Serra de les Talaies. The town today depends mostly on tourism. It has a number of beaches and a marina. Perhaps the most important landmark in town is the Esglèsia de Sant Joan Baptista, the Church of St John the Baptist first built in 1766.
