Almonte is a town in the province of Huelva, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, in southern Spain. It covers 861 sq km (332 sq mi) and has a population of 20,000 people (2012 estimate). Within the town limits is El Rocío, a pilgrimage site and home to the Hermitage of the Virgin of El Rocío, which houses the Virgin of El Rocío.

The nearest city to Almonte is Seville. From there, take the A-49 motorway heading west till Bollullos Par del Condado, then continue south on route A-483 to reach Almonte.
