Nafarroa) is an autonomous community of
Spain located on the northern part of the country. It covers 10,391 sq km (4,012 sq mi) and has a population of 620,000 people (2012 estimate).

Navarre is bordered by
Aragon to the east,
La Rioja to the south, the
Basque Country to the west and
France to the north. Its capital, Pamplona, is home to one-third of its population.
Languages spoken in Navarre are Spanish and Basque. In places with predominantly Basque-speaking inhabitants, the Basque language has official status. This is mostly on the northwestern part of the community, whereas the southern part speak mostly Spanish.
