Neuhausen am Rheinfall is a town on the northern bank of the River Rhine, in Schaffhausen canton, northern Switzerland. The town is where the Rhine plunges down Rhine Falls, Europe's largest waterfall. Neuhausen am Rheinfall covers 7.98 sq km (3.08 sq mi) on a loop of the river. It has a population of 10,000 people (2011 estimate).

Neuhausen am Rheinfall dates back to the early 10th century. The first mention of it was in 1253, as Niuwenhusin. Until 1938, the town was simply known as Neuhausen. From a cluster of village houses, Neuhausen developed a small town, its economy based on manufacturing and tourism.

Most of the people living in Neuhausen am Rheinfall speak German (81.2%). The town has a sizable percentage of foreigners (35.1%), mostly from Germany, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and Turkey. 37.8% of the population of Neuhausen am Rheinfall attend the Swiss Reformed Church while 27.3% the Roman Catholic Church.
