Dorset and East Devon Coast are a stretch of picturesque coastline that is recognised as a World Heritage Site in England. The site is celebrated for having an almost continuous sequence of rock formations spanning the Mesozoic Era, providing an important glimpse into the earth's history.

The Dorset and East Devon Coast is often known as the Jurassic Coast. It stretches from Orcombe Point to Old Harry Rocks, a distance of 153 km (95 mi)

Dorset and East Devon Coast were inscribed as a World Heritage Site during the 25th session of the World Heritage Committee in Helsinki, Finland, on 11 - 16 December, 2001. It is the second natural heritage site to be inscribed in the UK.
