Bromyard is a small town in northeastern
Herefordshire, England. It is near the border between Herefordshire and
Worcestershire. The town of some 5,000 people (2012 estimate) was once a market town and a former internment camp during the First World War.
The history of Bromyard goes back to Norman times. The town center has a number of well-preserved half-timbered houses that add interest to the townscape. The town stages a three-day folk festival every September celebrating traditional English music.
