Kenilworth is a town in Warwick district, in Warwickshire, England. It is about 6 km to the north of Warwick. The town has a population of 23,000 people (2012 estimate).

The history of Kenilworth goes back to at least the Norman period of British history. It was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, where it appeared as Chinewrde. Anglo-Norman nobleman Geoffrey de Clinton was instrumental in constructing an Augustinian priory in Kenilworth, along with Kenilworth Castle, both arouond 1122. He also created a deer park near the town.

The railway line was connected to Kenilworth in 1844 with services between Coventry and Leamington Spa. This brought a spur of development to town.

Today Kenilworth serves as a dormitory town to people working in Coventry, Birmingham and Leamington Spa. The main shopping area is around Talisman Square.
