Cannon Street Railway Bridge, London

Cannon Street Railway Bridge is one of the railway bridges across the River Thames in Central London. It is located between Southwark Bridge to the west and London Bridge to the east.

The Cannon Street Railway Bridge comprises five arches over the river. It was built for the South Eastern Railway. It was designed by Sir John Hawkshaw, who also designed the Cannon Street Station. The original bridge was completed in 1866, but the present structure is a reconstruction completed in 1981. The bridge was originally called Alexandra Bridge, after Alexandra of Denmark, who was to become the consort of the future King Edward VII.
