Elizabeth Line
The Elizabeth Line is the newest addition to London's transport system. It is a 24-hour service, with trains running every two and a half minutes at peak times.
The Elizabeth Line is a new railway line running from Reading and Heathrow in the west, through new tunnels under central London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east. The line will serve 40 stations, including six new stations in central London -
Paddington (Crossrail),
Bond Street (Crossrail), Tottenham Court Road (Crossrail), Farringdon (Crossrail),
Liverpool Street (Elizabeth Line) and
Canary Wharf (Elizabeth Line).
The Elizabeth Line is expected to carry 200 million passengers each year by 2030.
