Marble Arch Station (GPS: 51.51342, -0.15893) is a station of the London Underground in Travelcard Zone 1. It was named after the
Marble Arch. The station is located on the western end of
Oxford Street, to the northeast of the arch. Originally built in 1900, the station was reconstructed in early 1930's so that escalators can be fitted. It is refurbished in 2010 with new finishes all all areas except the decorative enamel panels by Annabel Grey which was fitted in 1985.
The Marble Arch Tube Station serves the Central Line, between the
Lancaster Gate Tube Station and
Bond Street Tube Station.
