St John's Wood Tube Station


St John's Wood Station (GPS: 51.5348, -0.17421) is a station of the London Underground in St John's Wood, in the City of Westminster, London. The station is in Travelcard Zone 2. It is served by the Jubilee Line between the Swiss Cottage Tube Station (heading towards Stanmore) and Baker Street Tube Station (heading towards Stratford).

St John's Wood Tube Station began operating in 1939 for the Bakerloo Line. It was transferred to the Jubilee Line in 1979. The station is located at the junction between Finchley Road and Acacia Road. You can find Beatles memorabilia sold at this station, as it is close to Abbey Road Studios. Also in the vicinity is the Lord's Cricket Ground.
