Victorial Memorial is a monument in London. It is located at the centre of Queen's Garden, in front of
Buckingham Palace. The Victoria Memorial has a statue of Queen Victoria on it facing the northeast direction towards the Mall. On the other sides of the monument are bronze statues. The statues are those of the Angel of Justice facing northwest, Angel of Truth facing southeast, and Charity facing the Buckingham Palace. On top of the monument is the statue of Victory.
The Victoria Memorial carries a nautical theme, much like the rest of the Mall, all the way to the
Admiralty Arch, in keeping with Great Britain's position as a naval power. There are sculptures of mermaids, mermen and hippogriffs.
Getting there
Take the Circle Line or District Line of the London Underground to the
St James's Park Tube Station and walk a short distance from there.
