West Brompton Station (GPS: 51.48728, -0.19547) is a station of the London Underground which is part of the West Brompton Railway Station, in the West Brompton neighbourhood, in the
Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in Central London. The station is on Old Brompton Road to the immediate south of the
Earls Court Exhibition Centre and to the west of the Brompton Cemetery.
West Brompton Tube Station is served by the
District Line between the
Earl's Court Tube Station and
Fulham Broadway Tube Station.
The West Bromption Railway Station is also served by the London Overground's West London Line, between the Kensington (Olympia) Railway Station and Imperial Wharf Railway Station, and by the National Rail's Southern train services, also between the Kensington (Olympia) Railway Station and Imperial Wharf Railway Station. The station dates back to the 1860's when it was opened by the West London Extension Joint Railway.
