Willesden Green Tube Station

Willesden Green Station (GPS: 51.54917, -0.2212) is a station of the London Underground in Willesden Green, in the London Borough of Brent. The main station building is a two-storey structure reconstructed in 1925, and has been a Grade 2 listed building since December 2006.

Willesden Green Tube Station is served by the Jubilee Line between the Dollis Hill Tube Station (heading towards Stanmore) and Kilburn Tube Station (heading towards Stratford). As with the other stations along the same line, Willesden Green Tube Station dates from 1879, when it was used by the Metropolitan Line (then called Metropolitan Railway). The main station building still bears the words "Metropolitan Railway".

In 1939, services were taken over by the Bakerloo Line. Then in 1979, services tranferred to the Jubilee Line. The original platform for the Metropolitan Line is still intact, but is locked off from passengers.
