Barkingside Station (GPS: 51.58585, 0.0885) is a station of the London Underground. It is located in the London Borough of Redbridge. The station, which is in Travelcard Zone 4, is on the Hainault Loop. It is served by the Central Line between the Newbury Park Tube Station (heading towards Ealing Broadway/West Ruislip) and Fairlop Tube Station (heading towqrds Hainault/Woodford). The station is on ground level along Station Approach, the road that links to Crown Road the Carlton Drive in Barkingside.

The Barkingside Tube station was originally opened in 1903 for the Great Eastern Railway. Plan for it to be served by the Central Line goes back to 1935. However it was delayed by the outbreak of the Second World War, and the electrified Central Line only began serving this station from 1948.

The station building of Barkingside Tube Station is today a Grade II listed building, due to its architectural significance. It is a brick building with a cupola. Of interest is its hammerbeam roof at the ticket hall.
