The London Borough of Bexley is a borough on the eastern part of Greater London. It is one of the boroughs of Outer London. The London Borough of Bexley shares a border with the London Borough of Bromley to the south, the London Borough of Greenwich to the west. To the north is the River Thames as well as the London Borough of Havering and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. To the east is the borough of Dartford in Kent county.
The London Borough of Bexley covers 60 sq km (23.4 sq mi) and has a population of 224,000 (2011 estimate). It was formed in 1965 with the municipal boroughs of Bexley and Erith, the Crayford Urban District and part of Chislehurst and Sidcup Urban District.
How to reach Bexley
The London Borough of Bexley is served by three suburban railway lines all crossing the borough heading towards Dartford. They include the North Kent Line, the Bexleyheath Line and the Dartford Loop Line. There are no London Underground or London Overground trains serving the borough.
