Boston Manor Station (GPS: 51.49576, -0.32474) is a station of the London Underground in Boston Manor, in the London Borough of Hounslow. The station building is located along Boston Manor Road. It is in Travelcard Zone 4.

Boston Manor Tube Station is served by the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly Line between the Northfields Tube Station (heading towards Cockfosters) and Osterley Tube Station (heading towards Heathrow Airport Terminals 4 or 5).

Boston Manor Tube Station began operations in 1883 for the Metropolitan District Railway, now called District Line, towards Hounslow Town. The station was originally known as Boston Road station although the platform signages show Boston Manor for Hanwell. The line underwent electrification in 1905, and was renamed to its present name in 1911.

The present station building dates from 1934, when it was rebuilt to replace the 1883 structure. The new building was designed by Stanley Heaps in the modern European style. The Piccadilly Line began services to Boston Manor Tube Station in 1933 while the District Line pulled out in 1964.

About this website

Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.

While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
