Holland Park is the name of a neighbourhood as well as public park within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in Inner London. The neighbourhood is one of the affluent communities noted for its large Victorian townhouses, upscale shops and restaurants. It is also close to many shopping places such as Clarendon Cross, High Street Kensington, Ledbury Road, Notting Hill, Holland Park Avenue, Portobello Market and Westbourne Grove.

The neighbourhood of Holland Park can be described as bounded by Holland Park Avenue to the north, Kensington High Street to the south, Kensington Church Street to the east and Holland Road to the west.
The public park known as Holland Park is 22 hectares (54 acres) in size. The northern section of the park is semi-woody. At the centre is the ruins of Holland house. Here the park is landscaped with garden areas. The park, as with the neighbourhood itself, got its name from Holland House, the mansion of Jacobean style architecture built in 1605 by Sir Walter Cope.
Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
