King's Cross St Pancras Station (GPS: 51.53047, -0.12383) is the biggest station of the London Underground system. This tube station serves both the King's Cross Railway Station and the St Pancras Railway Station. Located in Travelcard Zone 1, in the London Borough of Islington, the tube station has four pairs of tracks and is served by six different lines, namely the Hammersmith & City Line, Circle Line, Metropolitan Line, Northern Line, Piccadilly Line and Victoria Line.

The Circle Line, Hammersmith & Line Line and Metropolitan Line all use the same tracks, with trains running between the Euston Square Tube Station and the Farringdon Tube Station. The Northern Line is between the Euston Tube Station and Angel Tube Station. The Piccadilly Line is between Russell Square Tube Station and Caledonian Road Tube Station, and the Victoria Line is between Euston Tube Station and Highbury & Islington Tube Station.

The King's Cross St Pancras Station traces its history back to the opening of the King's Cross Tube Station for the Metropolitan Railway in 1863. Since then it has undergone several make-overs.

About this website

Dear visitor, thank you so much for reading this page. My name is Timothy Tye and my hobby is to find out about places, write about them and share the information with you on this website. I have been writing this site since 5 January 2003. Originally (from 2003 until 2009, the site was called AsiaExplorers. I changed the name to Penang Travel Tips in 2009, even though I describe more than just Penang but everywhere I go (I often need to tell people that "Penang Travel Tips" is not just information about Penang, but information written in Penang), especially places in Malaysia and Singapore, and in all the years since 2003, I have described over 20,000 places.

While I try my best to provide you information as accurate as I can get it to be, I do apologize for any errors and for outdated information which I am unaware. Nevertheless, I hope that what I have described here will be useful to you.
