King's Cross St Pancras Station (GPS: 51.53047, -0.12383) is the biggest station of the London Underground system. This tube station serves both the King's Cross Railway Station and the St Pancras Railway Station. Located in Travelcard Zone 1, in the London Borough of Islington, the tube station has four pairs of tracks and is served by six different lines, namely the Hammersmith & City Line, Circle Line, Metropolitan Line, Northern Line, Piccadilly Line and Victoria Line.
The King's Cross St Pancras Station traces its history back to the opening of the King's Cross Tube Station for the Metropolitan Railway in 1863. Since then it has undergone several make-overs.
