Lancaster Gate Station (GPS: 51.51183, -0.17537) is a London Underground station on Bayswater Road in Bayswater, in the City of Westminster in London. It is served by the Central Line and is located between the Queensway Tube Station and Marble Arch Tube Station.
Lancaster Gate Tube Station began operations on 30 July 1900 as the Central London Railway station. The present building dates from 1968 after the original one was demolished. The station further underwent refurbishment in 2006.
Lancaster Gate Tube Station is within walking distance from London Paddington Railway Station, so it is a convenient stop for people going there to take the train.
