Mile End Station, London

Mile End Station (GPS: 51.52514, -0.03341) is a station of the London Underground in Mile End, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The station is in Travelcard Zone 2. It is an interchange served by three subway lines. The Central Line passes through this station between Bethnal Green Tube Station and Stratford Tube Station while both the District Line and Hammersmith & City Line pass through between Stepney Green Tube Station and Bow Road Tube Station.

The Mile End Tube Station began operations in 1902 for the Whitechapel & Bow Railway. The District Line began serving this station since 1923 while the Hammersmith & City Line since 1936.
