North Greenwich Station, London

North Greenwich Station (GPS: 51.50024, 0.00358) is a station of the London Underground in the London Borough of Greenwich. Located on the Greenwich Peninsula, at the border of Travelcard Zones 2 and 3, the station is served by the Jubilee Line between the Canary Wharf Tube Station and the Canning Town Tube Station.

The present North Greenwich Tube Station is an entirely different station from the former station of the same name that used to be there from 1872 to 1926. The present station is adjacent to the O2 Arena, on the northern end of the Greenwich Peninsula and on the south bank of the River Thames.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
