Northwood Station (GPS: 51.61125, -0.42381) is a station of the London Underground in Northwood, in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The station is served by the Watford branch of the Metropolitan Line. It is between Moor Park Tube Station (heading towards Amersham, Chesham or Watford) and Northwood Hills Tube Station (heading towards Baker Street or Aldgate Tube Station). The station is in Travelcard Zone 6.
Northwood Tube Station began operations in 1887 for the Metropolitan Railway, the precursor to today's Metropolitan Line. The station building was rebuilt in the mid 20th century. It is located off Green Lane in Northwood.
